Ken Gross is a 1981 graduate of Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He is a 1984 graduate of Southwestern University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Gross worked as a litigation assistant for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. Mr. Gross is licensed to practice law in California, Pennsylvania, the Central and Northern Districts of California for the Federal Court as well as the United States Court of International Trade.
He has been practicing law for more than 25 years and primarily handles business litigation, including contract disputes, trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, fraud, as well as real estate litigation, administrative matters and enforcement of foreign arbitration awards. Transactional work centers on real estate matters as well as lender-borrower relations and drafting of loan documents. He has served as general counsel for a several companies, including an international franchisor of health clubs and fitness centers, a national retailer of telecommunication services, several hotels and an international juice bar chain. In 2001, as part of Perliss & Gross in Chengdu, China, his firm was the first foreign law firm licensed in southwest China. He has argued cases throughout the state as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
